We’re celebrating our 35th anniversary.
V-Teck Communications started WPKO & WBLL on December 2nd, 1987.
President Lou Vito acquired the two stations in July 1987.
WPKO, WBLL, and 106.9 The Bull air local news and broadcasts from numerous local events such as elections, fairs, and sporting events throughout the year.
In 2016, 98.3 WPKO transitioned to HD Radio.
107.3 The Drive (classic rock) launched in January 2017.
106.9 The Bull (country) started in January 2018.
In 2020, V-Teck started PeakofOhioTV.com where you can watch local high school football and basketball games, graduations, and parades. Peakofohiotv.com is also the home of Peak of Ohio Chalk Talk every Wednesday evening.
