The Logan County Republican Party hosted its Annual Lincoln Day Dinner at the Winner Harvest Barn on Monday evening, with several elected officials and Republican supporters from around Logan County and beyond filling the venue.

The headline speaker for the evening was Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost, who is campaigning for the Republican nomination for Ohio Governor.

Yost told the crowd that he is not running to simply solve problems, but rather to provide long-term goals for the state.

“Government is not very good at solving problems,” he remarked, emphasizing his vision for a future where Ohioans and businesses drive solutions.

In addition to Yost, Ohio State Treasurer Robert Sprague, who is running for Secretary of State, also addressed the audience.

Sprague highlighted how his experience in government finance would be crucial in managing Ohio’s elections and state business functions.

He stressed that his knowledge would help him bring a wealth of expertise to the office.

The event attracted a group of elected officials and Republicans from across Logan County and beyond, who gathered to hear from leaders and discuss the future of Ohio.

The dinner provided an opportunity for networking and for Yost and Sprague to connect with supporters as they continue their campaigns.
