The Logan County Sheriff’s Office reports that 20-month-old Ruben Moody passed away Saturday afternoon.
Moody reportedly drowned after falling into a koi pond on the family property.
Sheriff Randy Dodds said no charges have been filed and the investigation continues.
Ruben was found in the pond by his grandfather around 2:30 Saturday afternoon.
The family property is located outside of Logansville on County Road 21.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday, March 10, 2023, at the Quincy Fire Department, 119 Main Street in Quincy. Immediately following the visitation, there will be a procession to Huntsville Cemetery, where Pastor Brandon Storm will officiate a graveside service.
