Brandon Bailey, 51, of Zanesfield, was arrested Saturday afternoon on multiple charges, including strangulation and two counts of domestic violence.

According to deputies, the incident began when Bailey demanded a credit card from the victim to pay bills.

When she refused, he allegedly became violent, grabbing her by the neck and pushing her into a wall.

Bailey then attempted to slash the victim’s tires with scissors.

A second victim intervened, leading to a physical altercation between Bailey and the second victim.

The first victim managed to call 911 and both victims were able to escape to a safe location.

Deputies visited Bailey’s home, where he denied assaulting the first victim but admitted to the altercation with the second victim.

Bailey was subsequently arrested and booked into the Logan County Jail.
