Early Sunday morning, at 3:00 am, Tara Zell, 40, of West Liberty, was injured after her 2015 Ram 2500 went off the road and overturned on Township Road 195.
According to the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, Zell was driving southbound when she went off the right side of the roadway and struck a utility pole, causing the vehicle to overturn onto the driver’s side.
Deputies reported that the vehicle also hit multiple other vehicles and roadside objects before coming to a stop.
Zell sustained suspected minor injuries and was transported by Mac-o-Chee EMS to Mary Rutan Hospital for treatment.
Impaired driving is suspected as a factor in the crash, and Zell was issued a citation for driving under the influence.
The Logan County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the incident.
