Adams signs to compete in Track and Field at Miami University

Kylie Adams, a senior at Bellefontaine High School, has officially signed to compete in NCAA Division 1 Track and Field with Miami University.

She competed in the OHSAA State Middle School Meet, where she earned 7th place in the 200 hurdles, 5th place in the 100 hurdles, and claimed the State Championship in long jump.

As a high school athlete, Adams is a 3-time state qualifier for the OATCCC Indoor Track and Field Championships, with six podium finishes and a runner-up finish in long jump.

Outdoors, she holds school records in Long Jump, 100-meter hurdles, and 300-meter hurdles, and is part of the school’s record-holding 400-meter relay team.

In the Central Buckeye Conference (CBC), Adams has been named first-team Kenton Trail three times in the 100 hurdles, 300 hurdles, 400 relay, and long jump.

She has also earned the title of CBC Kenton Trail Player of the Year three times.

Kylie is a 3-time OHSAA state qualifier and has earned five All-Ohio honors for placing in the top 8 at the state meet, including a 3rd-place finish in the 300-meter hurdles in 2024.

Adams will attend Miami University, in Oxford, Ohio in the fall to study Mechanical Engineering while continuing her track and field career.
