Area athletes earn All-Ohio Honors in boys’ basketball

Several area athletes have been recognized among the best in the state, as the Ohio Prep Sports Media Association announced its 2026 All-Ohio Boys Basketball teams for Divisions IV, V, VI, and VII on Wednesday.

The honors are based on regular-season performance, with selections coming from nominations across seven statewide districts.

In Division IV, Urbana’s Grady Lantz earned Honorable Mention recognition after a strong junior season, averaging 15.8 points, 6.4 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 2.7 steals per game. Teammate Drew Dixon also picked up Honorable Mention honors, posting 14.6 points per game while shooting an impressive 47.3 percent from three-point range and 83.6 percent from the free throw line, both ranking among the top marks in the state.

In Division V, Indian Lake junior Brodey Reisinger was named to the Third Team following a dominant season in the paint, averaging 17.0 points and 11.3 rebounds per game to go along with 2.3 assists and 1.5 steals. Teammate Avery Pequignot earned Honorable Mention honors, contributing 14.7 points and 5.0 rebounds per contest. Graham junior Brody Jenkins also received Honorable Mention recognition after leading his team with 19.0 points per game.

In Division VI, Mechanicsburg senior Josh Titus was selected as an Honorable Mention honoree, averaging 14.3 points per game while adding 3.1 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 1.6 steals. He also shot 83.3 percent from the free-throw line.

The All-Ohio teams for Divisions I, II, and III are scheduled to be announced later today, while the girls teams were released earlier this week.

The Ohio Prep Sports Media Association, established in 1972 and endorsed by the Ohio High School Athletic Association, oversees the selection process and continues to recognize excellence in high school athletics across the state.
