The 2026 OHSAA boys’ high school baseball tournaments are officially set, and with the regular season winding down, several local teams now know their postseason paths. Area programs across multiple divisions will begin tournament play next week, with district quarterfinals, semifinals, and opening-round matchups on the schedule as teams begin their pursuit of district titles.
Here’s a breakdown of tournament games for local teams:
Division III – Southwest 2
District Quarterfinal:
No. 8 Bellefontaine vs. No. 11 Stebbins
Wed. May 20 – 5:00 PM @ Blue Jacket Baseball Diamond
Bellefontaine enters tournament play as the No. 8 seed and will square off with No. 11 Stebbins in district quarterfinal action. The Chiefs will look to take advantage of a favorable seed and advance deeper into the bracket.
Division IV – Southwest 1
District Quarterfinal:
No. 1 Urbana vs. Winner of No. 12 Thurgood Marshall / No. 13 Northridge
Wed. May 20 – 5:00 PM @ Boyce Street Athletic Complex
Urbana earned the top seed in the district and receives a favorable opening draw, awaiting the winner of a first-round matchup between Thurgood Marshall and Northridge. The Hillclimbers enter postseason play as one of the favorites in the bracket.
Division IV – Southwest 2
District Quarterfinal:
No. 3 Benjamin Logan vs. No. 7 Northwestern
Wed. May 20 – 5:00 PM @ Benjamin Logan HS
Benjamin Logan opens tournament action at home as the No. 3 seed against seventh-seeded Northwestern. The Raiders will look to capitalize on home field advantage as they begin their postseason run.
Division V – Southwest 2
First Round:
No. 12 Graham vs. No. 10 Greenon
Tue. May 19 – 5:00 PM @ Greenon HS
Graham hits the road for a first-round tournament matchup against Greenon. The Falcons enter as the No. 12 seed and will try to pull off an upset to keep their season alive.
District Quarterfinal:
No. 5 West Liberty-Salem vs. No. 9 Indian Lake
Thu. May 21 – 5:00 PM @ West Liberty-Salem HS
West Liberty-Salem hosts Indian Lake in an all-local district quarterfinal matchup. The fifth-seeded Tigers will defend their home field against the No. 9 Lakers, with both teams battling for a spot in the district semifinals.
Division VI – Southwest 2
District Quarterfinal:
No. 11 Triad vs. No. 13 Houston
Wed. May 20 – 5:00 PM @ Triad HS
Triad begins postseason play at home against Houston in a district quarterfinal contest. The Cardinals earned the No. 11 seed and will look to advance against fellow lower-seeded Houston.
District Semifinal:
No. 2 Riverside vs. Winner of No. 8 Dayton Christian / No. 10 Yellow Springs
Wed. May 27 – 5:00 PM @ Riverside HS
Riverside secured a strong postseason position as the No. 2 seed and advances directly into the district semifinal round. The Pirates will host either Dayton Christian or Yellow Springs as they begin tournament play.
Division VI – Central 2
District Quarterfinal:
No. 2 Mechanicsburg vs. Winner of No. 7 Cardington-Lincoln / No. 12 Wellington School
Tue. May 26 – 5:00 PM @ Mechanicsburg HS
Mechanicsburg earned a No. 2 seed and a home district quarterfinal, awaiting the winner between Cardington-Lincoln and Wellington School. The Indians enter tournament play with a strong opportunity to make a deep postseason push.
