The 2026 OHSAA girls’ high school softball tournaments are set, and as the final week of the regular season arrives, several area teams are preparing to begin postseason play across multiple divisions and district brackets. Local programs will open tournament action next week with first-round and district quarterfinal matchups as the road to a district championship begins.
Here’s a breakdown of tournament games for local teams:
Division III – Southwest 2
District Quarterfinal:
No. 11 Bellefontaine vs No. 2 Archbishop Carroll
Tue. May 12 – Time TBD @ Archbishop Carroll HS
Bellefontaine enters tournament play as the No. 11 seed and faces a tough road test against second-seeded Archbishop Carroll. The Lady Chieftains will look to put together a strong effort against one of the top teams in the bracket.
Division IV – Southwest 1
First Round:
No. 7 Indian Lake vs No. 14 Northridge
Tue. May 12 – 5:00 PM @ Indian Lake HS
Indian Lake opens tournament play at home as the No. 7 seed, taking on Northridge. The Lakers will aim to defend their home field and advance.
District Quarterfinal:
No. 4 Benjamin Logan vs Winner of No. 7 Indian Lake / No. 14 Northridge
Thu. May 14 – Time TBD @ Benjamin Logan HS
Benjamin Logan earns the No. 4 seed and awaits the winner of Indian Lake and Northridge. The Lady Raiders will look to take advantage of home field as they begin postseason play.
Division IV – Southwest 3
First Round:
No. 12 Graham vs No. 11 Oakwood
Tue. May 12 – 5:00 PM @ Oakwood HS
Graham hits the road for a first-round matchup against Oakwood. The Falcons will look to pull off an upset and advance.
District Quarterfinal:
No. 2 Urbana vs Winner of No. 12 Graham / No. 11 Oakwood
Thu. May 14 – Time TBD @ Site TBD
Urbana enters as a No. 2 seed and will face the winner of Graham and Oakwood. The Hillclimbers will look to make a strong postseason push.
Division VI – Southwest 1
District Quarterfinal:
No. 6 Riverside vs No. 4 National Trail
Thu. May 14 – 5:00 PM @ National Trail HS
Riverside heads on the road for a district quarterfinal matchup against National Trail. The Pirates will look to come away with a postseason win in a competitive pairing.
Division VI – Southwest 2
District Quarterfinal:
No. 8 West Liberty-Salem vs No. 7 Twin Valley South
Thu. May 14 – 5:00 PM @ Twin Valley South HS
West Liberty-Salem enters as the No. 8 seed and faces a close matchup with No. 7 Twin Valley South. The Tigers will look to advance in what should be a tightly contested game.
Division VI – Central 2
First Round:
No. 9 Mechanicsburg vs No. 7 Liberty Christian
Wed. May 13 – 5:00 PM @ Liberty Christian Academy
Mechanicsburg opens tournament play on the road against Liberty Christian. The Indians will aim to put together a strong showing to move on.
Division VII – Southwest 1
First Round:
No. 12 Triad vs No. 8 Fort Loramie
Mon. May 11 – 5:00 PM @ Fort Loramie HS
Triad begins postseason play on the road against Fort Loramie. The Cardinals will look to rise to the challenge and extend their season.
