“The team put together a great effort to place 3rd in a sixteen-team meet. Not only did they face some strong teams, but they also had to fight thru gusty winds, cool weather, and first-meet jitters,” said Benjamin Logan girls coach Mike Coder. “(The) coaches were pleased with the focus and effort that was put forth. It is difficult to warm up and prepare for events when facing extreme weather, but we were pleased that our athletes knew what had to be done and needed no prompting to ready themselves for competition. We were given a chance to see what this team is made of. They did not shy away from the challenges presented to them.”
