Area volleyball teams hit the court Tuesday

The Bellefontaine varsity team beat Springfield Shawnee in straight sets: 25-15, 25-19, and 25-13.

Kelsie Snapp led the Chiefs with 17 kills, 11 digs, and 3 solo blocks.

Taylor Banta was 30/31 serving with 5 kills and 7 digs.

Reagan Standley added 7 digs.

Latoya Rogan added 10 digs and 3 aces.

Madi Zedeker tallied 22 assists.

Lily Palmer added 8 assists.

Delmary Zayas-Colon had 3 kills and 2 blocks.

Olivia Ullom added 4 kills and 2 blocks.

Ava Campbell had 4 Blocks.

The Chiefs move to 7-5 (2-3 CBC).

The Chieftain JV Red team also beat Shawnee in straight sets: 25-20 and 25-21.

Airiana Young led with 16 assists, 10 digs, and 3 aces.

Julia Nelson tallied 7 kills.

Kaeleigh Flora had 3 aces, 7 digs, 4 kills, and a solo block.

Ava Reeves tallied 18 digs.

Kenzie Flora added 2 aces and 4 digs.

Alexza Clifton had 3 digs, 2 kills, and perfect serving.

The JV Black Chiefs defeated Ridgemont in straight sets: 25-12 and 25-18.

Ava Dolan was 11/11 serving with 7 aces and 8 digs.

Kylie Adams had 7 digs, 7 kills, and perfect serving.

Zoey Lavender added 4 kills, 7 digs, and 2 aces.

Lauren Valdez went 8/9 serving with 2 aces.

Maddie Ullom added 3 digs and 4 aces.

Kylee Boggs tallied 11 assists.

All three Chieftain teams are back in action Wednesday hosting Northwestern. The JV Black game begins at 4:30 p.m.

Lady Raiders varsity team

The Benjamin Logan varsity team beat Northwestern in straight sets: 25-18, 25-23, and 25-21.

Lily Blackburn had 15 kills, Makayla Williamson with 14 kills, and Kyndal Cronkleton with 9 kills.

Brielle Moorhouse had 41 assists and Mia Stahler had 26 digs.

The Indian Lake varsity team defeated Urbana in straight sets: 25-7, 25-4, and 25-16.

Madison Brentlinger was 23/23 serving with 4 aces, 4/5 hitting with 4 kills

Stephanie Altstaetter was 14/14 hitting with 8 kills, 9 assists, and 6 digs

Halle Roby was 5/5 serving, 7/8 hitting, 6 kills, 12 assists, and 4 digs

Ally Kinney was 13/13 hitting with 6 kills, 11/12 serving

Indian Lake is 8-4 and 3-2 in CBC

Laney Storm recorded 3 kills and an ace.

Ava Oppy had a kill, 2 assists, and 4 aces.

Lyla Connor chipped in with 2 digs.

The Chieftain 8th-grade volleyball team lost to North Union in straight sets: 18-25 and 8-25.

Presley Vigansky had 3 kills and Ava Layman had 2.
