Baseball: Tigers and Lakers Win


The Tigers beat Triad 7-0 on Wednesday night in OHC play.

Isaac Sertell earned the win for the Tigers on the mound today.

He pitched six strong innings and was relieved by Dallas Koons.

The Tigers are now 12-3 on the season and travel to Catholic Central on Friday.


The Benjamin Logan Raiders fell to Indian Lake 8-2.

Camden Spriggs led the Raiders with two hits.

Indian Lake got on the board in the first inning after Burke Lillard singled, scoring one run.

Indian Lake added one run in the second.

They scored on a wild pitch, making the score 2-0.

The Raiders tied the game in the bottom of the fourth thanks to an error and a double by Bryden Morris.

Indian Lake flipped the game on its head in the top of the sixth, scoring six runs on one hit to take the 8-2 lead.

The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Evan Manley that drove in three.

Burke Lillard earned the win for Indian Lake.

He surrendered five hits and two runs over six innings, striking out nine and walking none.

Hunter Peterson took the loss for Benjamin Logan.

The right-handed pitcher went five innings, surrendering six runs on one, hit, striking out six, and walking seven.

Brayden Morris went one for three at the plate as the infielder led the team with one run batted in.

Benjamin Logan turned one double play in the game.

Evan Manley and Burke Lillard each collected one hit for the Lake.

Manly went one for three at the plate as he led the team with two runs batted in.

Indian Lake had a strong eye at the plate, amassing eight walks for the game.

Burke Lillard, Lane Tucci, and Madden Lillard led the Lake with two bases on balls each.

Next up for the Benjamin Logan Raiders is a game against Tecumseh on Thursday.

For the Lakers, they will take on Tecumseh on Friday.


London defeated Bellefontaine 10-7.

Graham won against Shawnee 7-1.

Urbana beat Tecumseh 8-7.
