The Bellefontaine boys varsity golf team kicked off their season by hosting the Ryan Reynolds Memorial Tournament at Liberty Hills.
Bellefontaine finished 6th out of 10 teams with a total score of 383.
The team was led by Collen Brugler with an 85, followed by Rory Pierce (92), Noah Smith (100), and Kyle Boop (106).
Looking ahead, Bellefontaine will compete at Windy Knoll on Friday afternoon for another 18-hole invitational.
The Riverside boys golf team showcased their talent at the Invitational.
Jaxon Woods delivered an outstanding performance, finishing as the runner-up with a solid score of 73. His impressive play earned him high praise and highlighted his consistent skill on the course.
Hayden McCully made headlines with his personal best round of 82, securing a top-ten finish among 45 competitors. McCully’s achievement marks a significant personal milestone and contributes positively to the team’s overall performance.
Daniel Esh demonstrated continued improvement with a score of 110, reflecting his dedication and progress throughout the season.
The Riverside boys golf team will look to build on their recent success as they host Covington on Friday afternoon at Cherokee.
St. Marys claimed the tournament victory with a strong performance, finishing with a score of 308.
Brennan Steger from St. Marys took top honors as the medalist with a narrow lead at 72, setting the bar for a competitive field.
