Bellefontaine, Benjamin Logan middle school volleyball teams close seasons in CBC tournament

The 8th-grade Lady Chiefs went on the road to face a tough Jonathan Alder squad, falling in two sets: 25-10, 25-16.

Alexis Hogan recorded 2 assists, 1 dig, and went 4-for-5 from the service line. Gianna Davis tallied 9 digs, 2 kills, and was 3-for-4 serving. Jazmin Nelson served a perfect 7-for-7 with 2 aces, while Alejandra Mergote added 4 digs. Ellie Irick went 4-for-4 serving with 3 digs and an assist.

Ellijana Bosiljavec contributed 2 kills, 2 digs, and was 6-for-6 serving, while Eden Smith, Kennedy Hairston, Amanda Moran, and Brookelyn Oaks each added defensive and offensive support for Bellefontaine.

The 7th-grade Lady Chiefs fell to London in two sets: 25-13, 25-19.

Highlights included solid serving from Alivia Rogan (6-for-7) and Mariana Costano Infante (5-for-6). Arianna Rumer had an all-around performance with 4 digs, 2 kills, 2 assists, and 3-for-4 serving. Charley Frazier, Braelynn Neer, Skylar Phan, Sirinity Holy, Gemma Rutan, and Melah Conklin all contributed to the team effort.

For Benjamin Logan Middle School, the 7th-grade Raiders dropped their match to Jonathan Alder in two competitive sets: 25-17, 25-19.

The 8th-grade Raiders fell to Kenton Ridge: 25-19, 25-14. Team totals included 1 block, 4 kills, 4 assists, 6 aces, and 21 digs.

With the losses, all four teams conclude their 2025 seasons in the second round of CBC Tournament play, wrapping up strong efforts and steady improvement throughout the fall.
