The Bellefontaine varsity boys basketball team fell to Marysville 72-49 Monday night.

It was a back-and-forth game through the first two quarters, but a Monarch run to start the second half made it an uphill battle the rest of the night for the Chiefs.

Leading Bellefontaine was Riley Neer with 15 points. Tavian St. Clair added 11 points.

The Chiefs fall to 4-5 on the season.

Bellefontaine will hit the court again on Friday as they host Kenton Ridge. You can catch that game live at peakofohiotv.com with pregame coverage beginning around 7:15.
