The Bellefontaine varsity boys wrestling team competed at the Olentangy Orange Pioneer Classic Saturday.
The Chieftains finished 7th out of 16 teams and came away with five individual placers.

“It was a rough day for us as a whole,” said BHS head coach Aaron LaBatt. “We need to test ourselves more and work our way out of unfavorable situations. On the positive side, I felt Jared had a nice tournament and showed a lot of fight. Wes bounced back for third after a first-round loss, while Zavier, Zane, and Parker wrestled solid.”
Bellefontaine wrestles again Saturday at the Miamisburg Invitational.
