On Wednesday, the Bellefontaine Chiefs 11u faced West Liberty 3, 11-4.
The Chiefs got off to a slow start.
Getting on the board first with JuJu Anderson with a single and Brentlee Bach with a ground out, each scoring one run in the bottom of the second inning.
Chiefs scored five runs with only two hits in the bottom of the fifth inning.
Tovan Benton Jr. scored one run.
Jax Fleming and Braylon Lyburtus both had a single scoring two runs.
Braylon Lyburtus pitched for the Chiefs, allowing only two hits and zero runs in 3 innings.
Benton closed it out for the Chiefs, allowing zero hits, and striking out 4 batters.
The Chiefs will play again on Thursday night against West Liberty 4 at Dodge Park.
