The lone loss for Bellefontaine came at first singles, where M. Fissel fell in a tightly contested match against Auckerman. After splitting the first two sets 6-4 and 2-6, the match was decided by a tiebreaker, with Auckerman edging out a 10-8 win.
Bellefontaine responded with a sweep in the remaining matches. At second singles, Phillips delivered a solid performance, defeating Benoy in straight sets, 6-2, 6-2. H. Fissel followed with a dominant showing at third singles, cruising past Schnitzler 6-1, 6-0.
The doubles teams were equally impressive. In first doubles, the duo of Young and Lotts overwhelmed Langehaug and Miller with a 6-0, 6-0 shutout. Howard and Lloyd matched that effort at second doubles, posting another 6-0, 6-0 victory over Howard and Roe.
