The Bellefontaine girls bowling team placed 5th out of 25 teams in their regional competition, earning a spot in next Friday’s district tournament at Beaver-Vu-Bowl.
The team had a slow start but picked up momentum with a strong third game.
Their team games were as follows: 801, 800, and 952, totaling 2553 points in regular games.
They then bowled in the Baker games, scoring 179, 179, 127, 151, 195, 144, and 952, bringing their overall total to 3528 points, securing their spot in 5th place.
Top performances included Gracie Hood, who bowled impressive games of 218, 214, and 231, totaling 663 pins.
Nevaeh LaFollette contributed with 177, 204, and 201 for a total of 582, while Chloe Heminger added 171, 151, and 240, totaling 562.
Avery Mullins also bowled well, with games of 142 and 179.
