The Central Buckeye Conference tournament took place Tuesday afternoon, and many local teams earned good finishes.
Bellefontaine finished 4th with a 360.
Kyle Boop shot 84, Collen Brugler shot 87, Noah Smith shot 93, Cody Hudson shot 96, Landon Severt shot 124, and Christian Sterling shot 127.
The boys finished the season in 5th place. Collen Brugler earned second team recognition and Noah Smith received the Sportmanship Award.
Indian lake finished with a score of 347 and finished 4th in the Mad River for the season.
The Lakers were led by Jaxon Snipes with an 84. Cooper Hall shot an 86. Crew McPherson had an 88. Joe Cummins shot an 89. Kade Richardson had a 94 and Matthew Culp shot a 113.
The Lakers also had several individual awards earned at the meet. Cooper Hall, Joe Cummins, Jaxon Snipes and Crew McPherson all earned 2nd Team All-Conference. Crew McPherson also took home the Sportsmanship Award.
The Lakers will next compete on September 23rd at Windy Knoll in the Sectional Tournament.
Finally, the Benjamin Logan Raiders participated in the Mad River Division CBC Championships at Locust Hills Golf Club in Springfield. The team finished with a score of 444, finishing 6th.
Drake Newland led the team, shooting a 98. Colson Knight shot a 109, Dane Reffner shot a 110 (55/55), Jacob Frederick shot a 127, and Landyn Shields shot a 137 to round out the scoring.
In addition, the Raiders competed in a home match against Shawnee at Liberty Hills Golf Club on Monday, losing the match 150 to 228.
Dane Reffner led the team in scoring, shooting a 56. Colson Knight and Landyn Shields each shot a 57, and Jacob Frederick shot a 58 to round out the scoring.
The Raiders’ final regular match is Thursday at Liberty Hills Golf Club in a non-league tri-match against West Liberty-Salem and Bellefontaine.
The Raiders participate in the D2 SW Sectional Tournament next Tuesday (9/23) at Windy Knoll Golf Club in Springfield.
The Riverside Boys Golf team traveled to Shelby Oaks Golf course to compete in the Division III sectional tournament.
Lehman won the sectional with a 313 and Fort Recoverys Reece Lefevre was medalist with a 75.
For the Pirates, Hayden McCully shot an 85, Hayden Sanford 98, David Gross 103 and Syler Clark 110.
Riverside will finish the season this Thursday at the TRC Tourney at Cherokee Hills.

The Calvary Christian Spartans have also been in competition over the past couple of days.
On Tuesday, they competed at their sectional tournament, shooting a team score of 387 to place them 11th as a team. That score was 34 strokes better than last year’s finish at the same event.
