Bellefontaine Lady Chiefs Bowling Teams Defeat Tecumseh

The Bellefontaine Lady Chiefs’ varsity and JV bowling teams both earned victories over Tecumseh on Friday.

The varsity team finished with a total score of 2492, defeating Tecumseh, who scored 2337. Leading the way for Bellefontaine was Nevaeh LaFollette, who bowled scores of 196 and 209 for a total of 405. Gracie Hood followed closely with a total of 399, thanks to games of 184 and 215. Haylee Yelton added 175 and 183 for a total of 358, while Chloe Heminger contributed with a 181 game. Rylee Anderson also played well, adding a 171 game.

In the JV match, Bellefontaine’s team posted a final score of 1792, but fell to Tecumseh, who finished with a total score of 1853. Isabelle Gunnett led the JV team with scores of 165 and 163 for a total of 327. Addison Prosser bowled 135 and 136, totaling 271, and Kyrah Moon added a 169 game to round out the team’s performance.
