The Bellefontaine Lady Chiefs were outscored by Tecumseh in a competitive match at Acusport Stadium, ending with a 4-2 loss.
The game remained tight until midway through the second half when Tecumseh’s offensive firepower proved too much for the Lady Chiefs.
Elaina Ullom and Ava Watson scored for Bellefontaine, while Callie Shumaker contributed with an assist.
“We are battling as a team but coming up short at the end of games, and that just comes from a little bit of inexperience in certain areas of the lineup,” said Coach Shumaker. Coach Shu also stated “This team shows spurts of improvement and playing together as a team but they need to put it all together as an entire team, and they will finish these games with W’s”
The Lady Chiefs will look to improve as they head to St. Marys for their next match on Saturday.
