The Bellefontaine Lady Chieftains earned their third consecutive regional trophy as a result of their efforts at the OHSAA D2 Piqua Track and Field Regional.

It was a total team effort as points were scored in distance, sprints, hurdles, throws, and jumps.

“The team has had a great deal of adversity this season,” said head coach Ben Davis. ” However, their tenacity today resulted in many moments where they found points in the last kick, surge, or attempt.”

Callie Shumaker and Kylie Adams led the way with first place finishes in the 300 hurdles and long jump respectively.
