Bellefontaine Little League recap: Wednesday night at Lewis Ratleff Park

Wednesday night at Lewis Ratleff Park featured Peewee and Bantam League action in Bellefontaine Little League play, highlighted by strong pitching, aggressive base running, and several big offensive performances.

In Peewee League action, Bellefontaine’s Peewee’s Power Washing LLC fell 4-1 to West Liberty despite a standout effort on the mound.

Chiefs pitchers Avery Parmer and Holden James combined for 16 strikeouts, keeping their team competitive throughout the game.

Offensively, Taytum Richards and Holden James each collected hits, while Bellefontaine used aggressive base running to steal 12 bases and consistently pressure the West Liberty defense.

The Chiefs also turned in a solid defensive performance, allowing just three hits across six innings.

In Bantam League play, Nick Oakley Construction defeated SERVPRO of Central Auglaize, Hardin & Logan Counties 23-8.

Cam Lones, Odin Neff, and Declan Hunger led the offensive attack for the winners, while SERVPRO received two-hit performances from Gannon Trout and Sam Lopez.

Gabe Savage and Adrian Vermillion provided strong defensive play in the field.

Ohio Lumber Brick & Block closed the night with a 24-6 win over Pepsi.

Lincoln Uncapher, John Dinovo, and Cooper Lewis powered the offense for Ohio Lumber, while James Simpson and Carter Lowe had notable performances for Pepsi.

Ezekiel Rollins was highlighted for his hustle, legging out a base hit in the loss.

Wednesday’s action showcased strong individual performances across both leagues as teams continued to develop through the season at Lewis Ratleff Park.
