The Bellefontaine 7th grade football team capped off their season with an exciting 14-8 victory over Tecumseh. This hard-fought game showcased the players’ resilience and teamwork, making it a memorable conclusion to their season.
Both teams showed strong defenses, but the Chiefs didn’t take long to strike first.
Ean Fultz threw a perfectly placed touchdown pass to Sennett Stolly, putting the Chiefs on the board. Fultz showcased his dual-threat ability by scoring a touchdown himself later in the game.
Caleb Reister played a crucial role in the victory by catching a two-point conversion, bringing the score to 14-8.
While the offense shone brightly, the defense also played a key role in securing the victory. The Chiefs made critical stops, preventing Tecumseh from scoring after their initial touchdown. The defensive unit, led by strong tackling and solid coverage, was determined not to let the opposing team regain momentum.
