The Bellefontaine Middle School Boys Track Team had a strong start to the season taking 1st place in the meet versus Ben Logan and Indian Lake scoring 71 points to 2nd place with 33 points.
The following athletes placed:
- Caleb Sechrest – 1st in the 100m Dash and 1st in the 200m Dash
- Caleb Lillard – 3rd in 100m dash
- Bryant Carter – 4th in 100m dash, 4th in 200m dash and 2nd in Long Jump
- Dillon Jones – 4th in 100m dash, 2nd in the 200m dash
- Maddox Marlen – 4th in the 400m run and 1st in Long Jump
- Jack Wilson – 1st in the 800m run and 1st in the 1600m run
- Landon Rister – 1st in the 110m hurdles
- Cale Middlesworth – 2nd in the 200m hurdles
- Maxton Miranda – 3rd in High Jump
- Landon White – 3rd in Long Jump
- Bentley Stewart – 4th in Shot Put and 2nd in Discus
- Johnny Hammond – 4th in Discus
The 4x400m relay team of Isaiah Walker, Nicolas Herrera-Diaz, Jack Wilson and Caleb Sechrest took 1st
The 4x800m relay team of Isaac Roberts, Isaiah Walker, Andrew Myers, and Maddox Marlen took 1st
The girls also started fast with a big win over county rivals Ben Logan and Indian Lake.
Leading the way for the Chiefs were:
- Brooklyn Kuntz : 1st in 100m, 1st in 200m, 3rd on 200 hurdles
- Sloan Stolly: 1st in 100 hurdles, 1st in 200 hurdles
- Paxton Stewart: 3rd in 100m, 4th in 200 hurdles
- Layla Davis: 1st in 400m, 4th in 100m, 4th in 200m
- Chloe O’Chocke: 2nd in 800m, 2nd in 1600m
- Joy Fogan: 2nd in shot put, 3rd in discus
- Vanessa Friedrich: 2nd in discus
Cameo Greene, Blakely Vollrath, Sloan Stolly, Chloe O’Chocke: 2nd in 4×400 relay
