Bellefontaine MS teams swept by Jonathan Alder, WL-S takes on Northeastern

The Bellefontaine MS Lady Chiefs volleyball teams hosted Jonathan Alder. Both teams fell in straight sets to the Pioneers.

8th Grade: 25-19, 25-11

The West Liberty-Salem middle school teams competed against the Northeastern Jets.

The 7th-grade Lady Tigers fought hard but ultimately dropped a three-set match to the Jets: 25-18, 23-25, 25-4. Despite the loss, the team showed tremendous growth and strong defensive play, especially in the opening sets. The Tigers are now 5-10 on the season. The team earned the following stats:

  • Kills: 26
  • Aces: 6
  • Digs: 51
  • Assists: 24
  • Blocks: 1

The 8th-grade Lady Tigers continued their strong season with a dominant two-set victory: 25-11, 25-21.

The team showcased aggressive net play and excellent teamwork to improve their record to 13-2 overall. The team earned the following stats:

  • Kills: 21
  • Aces: 8
  • Digs: 24
  • Assists: 18
  • Blocks: 1
