Bellefontaine puts away Indian Lake at TP Lanes

Bellefontaine and Indian Lake squared off Wednesday night on the lanes in a head-to-head high school bowling matchup, with both the varsity girls and boys teams competing in a full slate of regular and Baker games. Strong individual series and consistent team scoring highlighted the night, as Bellefontaine ultimately came away with wins on both sides.

VARSITY GIRLS — Bellefontaine 2611, Indian Lake 2157

Bellefontaine delivered a dominant performance Wednesday night, combining consistent individual scoring with a strong Baker set to pull away from Indian Lake.

Chloe Heminger led the Lady Chieftains with an impressive 427 series, rolling games of 221 and 206. Gracie Hood followed closely with a 423 series (222–201), while Rylee Anderson added 375. Bellefontaine finished regular play with 1,861 pins before adding 750 pins in Baker games to seal the win.

Indian Lake was paced by Addison Castle, who posted a 357 series. Kacie Craft added 343, while Rena Knox chipped in 336. Despite solid individual efforts, the Lakers were unable to match Bellefontaine’s depth, especially during Baker play.

The Bellefontaine boys also earned a victory, using balanced scoring across the lineup and a solid Baker set to outpace Indian Lake.

Alex Williams led the Chieftains with a 396 series, while Dometri Harmon added 333 and Corbin Stachler finished with 322. Bellefontaine received key single-game contributions from Timothy Phillips (224) and Alex Moon (216). The Chieftains totaled 1,764 pins in regular games and followed with 737 pins in Baker play.

Indian Lake stayed competitive throughout the match but couldn’t close the gap late, finishing with 2,276 total pins.
