Bellefontaine High School senior quarterback Tavien St. Clair officially signed with The Ohio State University on Wednesday afternoon in a ceremony at the BHS main gym.
The consensus five-star recruit, who has earned recognition on the local, state, and national levels, made his commitment to Ohio State official after an outstanding high school career.
St. Clair, who was named the top overall recruit in the country by Rivals.com in August, had another big year in 2024.
He was also selected as the Southwest District Offensive Player of the Year for the second consecutive season.
This past fall, he threw for 2,536 yards and 29 touchdowns, while also rushing for 254 yards and 9 touchdowns.
Throughout his high school career, St. Clair passed for 9,794 yards and 104 touchdowns, solidifying his place as one of the top quarterbacks in the country.

St. Clair verbally committed to Ohio State in June 2023 and will study business and sports management at OSU.
Classes for St. Clair begin at the Columbus Campus just after the new year.
He joined fans and supporters for photos and an autograph session after the signing ceremony.
Recently, he signed a contract with Panini, that will follow him through his college career, the company creates trading cards, which he had on hand to sign for those interested.
Tavien is the son of Marcus and Patricia St. Clair of Bellefontaine.
