Bellefontaine Boys Bowling The Bellefontaine Boys Bowling team faced off against Kenton Ridge at Northridge Lanes, but came up short with a final score of 3135 to 2756. Despite the loss, several bowlers had strong individual performances. Robert Spain was the high roller for the Chiefs, with games of 234 and 245 for a total series of 479. Alex Williams also delivered a solid performance with scores of 228 and 212 for a 440 series. Alex Moon rolled 215 and 216 for a 431 series, while Paul Lafollette had a game of 204. The Chiefs’ baker scores were 199, 187, 169, and 186.
In the JV match, the Chiefs lost to Kenton Ridge 2307 to 1959. Colton Wisner led the team with a series of 365 (197 and 168), while Jacob Lynch added a series of 305 (160 and 145). Eli Stone also chipped in with a 305 series (150 and 149). The Chiefs’ baker scores were 159, 133, 142, and 135.
The Chiefs will hit the road again on Thursday, traveling to Victory Lanes in Springfield to face Springfield Shawnee.
West Liberty Salem Bowling Teams The West Liberty Salem Girls Bowling team secured a solid win over Northeastern, with a match total of 2041 to 1643. Top performers included Sadie Paul with 191, Lilly Gearheart with 169, and Alyssa Mueller with 158. The girls’ baker total was 582, while Northeastern’s was 546.
On the boys’ side, West Liberty Salem beat Northeastern 2339 to 2042. Zander Gluckle led the team with a score of 202, followed by Luke Thomas with 212. The boys’ baker total was 684, outscoring Northeastern’s 521.
Bellefontaine Girls Bowling The Bellefontaine Girls Bowling team suffered a close loss to Kenton Ridge, with a final score of 2566 to 2553. Gracie Hood was the standout bowler with games of 227 and 215 for a total series of 442. Haylee Yelton contributed with a 406 series (191 and 215), and Chloe Heminger added a 377 series with a 222 game. Avery Mullins had a 178 game. The Chiefs led in the regular games, scoring 1848 to Kenton Ridge’s 1760, but Kenton Ridge outperformed in the baker games with a score of 806, while the Chiefs scored 705. The girls’ next match will be on December 12th against Urbana at Southwest Bowl.
Riverside Boys Bowling The Riverside Pirates defeated Lima Temple Christian 2225 to 1835 in a varsity boys match at TP Lanes. Aiden Manning led the Pirates with a 192 game, and Zavier Herron added a 172 game. The Pirates are now 2-0 on the season and will face Kenton at home tomorrow night.
