Bellefontaine High School juniors Jake Moreland and Brenden Murray turned in strong performances at the 58th Annual Churchill’s Half Marathon, competing against more than 700 runners from across the region.
The pair finished less than a second apart, with Moreland placed 91st overall with a time of 1:36:54.17, followed just behind by Murray in 92nd at 1:36:54.56.
Both are members of the Bellefontaine cross country and track teams, and their results reflect the hard work and endurance developed throughout the season. The 13.1-mile race offered a tough challenge, but the pair represented Bellefontaine proudly with a solid showing from start to finish.
