Bellefontaine High School’s boys’ and girls’ basketball teams will take part in a truly special event this Saturday, traveling to Knightstown, Indiana, to face the Tecumseh Arrows at the Historic Hoosier Gym.
The Hoosier Gym is one of the most recognizable venues in basketball history, serving as the filming location for Hickory High School’s home court in the iconic 1986 movie Hoosiers. The gym remains a bucket-list destination for basketball fans across the country and offers a throwback atmosphere that celebrates the roots of high school basketball.
For the Chieftains, the trip provides a unique opportunity to compete in a non-conference setting while also experiencing a venue rich in tradition. Players, coaches, families, and fans will be part of an intimate game environment, with seating limited to just 600 spectators, creating an electric and memorable atmosphere.

Ticket & Entry Information
Doors will open at 3:00 p.m. for both teams and spectators. There will be no early admittance or early ticket sales due to games scheduled earlier in the day.
Tickets are $10 per person, cash only, and will be sold at the door beginning at 3:00 p.m. With only 600 tickets available, fans are encouraged to arrive early.
Parking Reminders
Parking is limited to on-street spaces only. Fans should not park in nearby apartment complex lots, as vehicles parked in restricted areas will be towed at the owner’s expense.
