The Bellefontaine Lady netters opened their season with a 3-2 victory over non-league opponent Wayne High School on Thursday.
The victory saw all Chieftain doubles teams earning wins.
- 1st Singles: A. Kennard defeated Julia Easton (B) 6-4,6-1
- 2nd Singles: Z. Lehman defeated Jenna Snyder (B) 6-4,3-6,6-2
- 3rd Singles: Alika Shields (B) defeated M. Flemming 7-5,7-5
- 1st Doubles: Kinsley Scott/Savannah Sheeley (B) defeated Vest/Johnson 6-2,6-4
- 2nd Doubles: Jayda Butler/Ava Dolan (B) defeated Eastman/Perez 7-5,6-4
- JV Doubles: Ashton Carey/Rianna Fullerton (B) defeated Galloway/Price 8-1
- JV Doubles: Ashton Carey/Rianna Fullerton (B) defeated Taylor/Swift 8-1
The Chiefs are back in action Friday at Kettering Fairmont at 9 AM.
