Ben Logan Jr. High splits season opener with Kenton Ridge

The Benjamin Logan 7th-grade football team kicked off its season Tuesday night, rolling past Kenton Ridge 34-6.

Carter Crum powered the Raiders’ offense with 185 rushing yards and four touchdowns on 18 carries.

Quarterback Brayden Ramos added 35 rushing yards and connected with Archer Stratton for two completions totaling 26 yards.

The defense was equally strong, with Bryson Greiner leading the way with six tackles and a sack.

Crum, Bentley Hatmaker, and Marshall Elliott each added four tackles.

In the 8th-grade game, Ben Logan fell to Kenton Ridge 36-0.

Defensively, the Raiders were led by Anson Nichols with eight tackles.

Nevada Coleman recorded six stops, Quinn Kuba tallied four tackles and a sack, and Harley Alloway added three tackles and a forced fumble.

The Raiders return to action Thursday, September 4, when they travel to Tecumseh.
