The middle school volleyball season is underway, and both the Ben Logan and Bellefontaine teams have faced tough matchups on Monday night.
The Ben Logan 7th-grade team fell to North Union in two sets, 17-25 and 16-25.
The team had two aces, six kills, two assists, and eighteen digs.
The Ben Logan 8th-grade team went three sets against North Union, winning the first 25-22 but losing the next two 8-25 and 24-26.
The team recorded sixteen kills, thirteen assists, five aces, and twenty-five digs.
Meanwhile, both the 7th and 8th grade Bellefontaine Lady Chiefs fell at home to London, moving both teams to 0-4 on the season.
The 8th grade lost 15-25 and 17-25.
Alex Hogan contributed three digs, two assists, and served a perfect five-for-five.
Gianna Davis added seven digs and served four-for-six.
Jazmin Nelson served six-for-six with two aces.
Ellie Irick had five digs and five-for-five serving.
Ellijana Bosiljavec recorded two digs, three kills, and served four-for-four.
Brookelyn Oaks served four-for-five.
The 7th grade lost 14-25 and 9-25.
Skylar Phan served eight-for-eight and had two digs.
Alivia Rogan served three-for-four and had three digs.
Braelyn Neer contributed four kills.
Arianna Rumer served four-for-four and had two digs.
The 8th-grade Lady Tigers of West Liberty-Salem won in 3 sets (25-14, 22-25, 25-13) against Northeastern Jets, taking their record to 4-0. Team stats were
