On Saturday the Benjamin Logan 4th grade girl’s black team took their 9-1 record on the road to play Bellefontaine who were also sitting at 9-1.

The game stayed close with the talented Chieftains in the lead for most of the way.

The Raiders got possession with 1:10 remaining in the game, where the Raiders subbed in a fresh Karra Talyor who hit a 12 ft. jumper from the left side to even the contest at 10-10.

The Raiders were able to steal the ensuing possession on an inbound play.

The Chiefs then knocked the ball out of bounds under the Raider basket.

Ben Logan’s coaching staff called a time-out to set up the inbound play.

Once the ball was put in play the inbound pass came into Claira Miller on the left wing, where she zeroed in on the 10-foot jumper and drained, to take a 12-10 lead, with 7 seconds remaining on the clock.

The Raiders were able to hold off a last-second shot by the Chiefs to secure the victory.

Other scorers for the Raiders were Mikaylah Cook and Campbell Spriggs.

Defensively the entire Raider team was up to the task.

With a 10-1 regular season record, the Ben Logan 4th Grade Girls will enter Tournament play as the #2 seed.
