The Benjamin Logan boys varsity soccer team defeated Urbana Wednesday 3-0 for their 4th consecutive shutout, the longest in school history.

Kendahl Stanley scored the hat trick for the Raiders and assists came from Aidan Todd, Graham Studebaker, and Eric Hughes.

Jacob Roth got the shutout with 2 saves in goal.

The Raiders are now 7-4-3 on the season and will host Tecumseh next Wednesday.

Coach Hughes “We were very patient tonight and moved the ball well.  Maybe not quite as sharp as Monday, but I still thought we still dominated every part of the game tonight.  Great to see Kendhal get his scoring touch back but I also think that’s what makes this team so hard to prepare for, tonight it was Kendahl, Monday was Seth, and next week it will probably be someone else.  We are just going to come at you in waves and you never know who is going to be the goal scorer.  Really proud of the defensive effort as well, 4 consecutive shutouts has never been accomplished in our history, and that takes being focused and not making mistakes for very long stretches of time.”

The Varsity Lady Raiders lost to Urbana 6-1 Wednesday night.

Izzy Henderson scored with an assist from Mya Burrey.

Emily Cogossi had 4 saves and Rissa Bates had 5.

Their next game is Monday against Marysville at Crew Stadium.

Game time is at 5:00 p.m. with free admission.
