It was an exciting first round of the CBC Middle School Volleyball Tournament this past weekend, as both Benjamin Logan and Bellefontaine middle school teams posted strong performances to move on to the next round.
Benjamin Logan Lady Raiders
8th Grade vs. Urbana
Final Scores: 25–18, 25–13
The Lady Raiders’ 8th-grade squad looked sharp in their straight-set win over Urbana.

They now move forward to meet Kenton Ridge in round two.
7th Grade vs. Graham
Final Scores: 22–25, 25–16, 25–21
After narrowly dropping the first set, the 7th-grade Raiders stormed back to take the next two and claim a hard-fought win over Graham.

Bellefontaine Middle School Lady Chiefs
8th Grade vs. Graham

The Lady Chiefs held their ground in a thrilling second set to sweep the Graham Falcons and secure their place in the next round.

After dropping the first set, Bellefontaine’s 7th-grade team bounced back with confidence to earn a comeback win in the reverse sweep.
