For the second time this year, the Benjamin Logan Boys Varsity Bowling team has set a new school record.
Thursday night they traveled to Southwest Bowl in Urbana to take on the Graham Falcons.
Total pinfall: Ben Logan – 3055 (new school record) to Graham – 2773.
The previous record for total pin fall was 3033 which was set in the same house (Southwest Bowl) vs Urbana Hillclimbers on December 7, 2023.
Leading the Raiders was Jarrett Buckenroth with games of 298, 224 – 522 series.
Daven Williams had games of 233, 239 – 472 series.
Landon Stoodt rolled games of 234, 232 – 466 series.
Caleb Knight had games of 214, 233 – 447 series.
Nate Davis chipped in with a 227 game.
In the Varsity Baker Games, Ben Logan split with Urbana.
Ben Logan Varsity Boys Bowling team is 11-1 in the CBC.
The Benjamin Logan Boys JV squad was victorious Thursday vs Graham.
Total pinfall: Ben Logan – 2388 to Graham – 2336.
Leading the JV squad was Aaron Vogelsang with games of 207, 212 – 419 series, Hayden Godwin with games of 199, 180 – 379 series, Wyatt Levan with games of 192, 142 – 334 series, and Colton Klopfenstein with games of 158, 153 – 311 series.
The JV squad is now 8-2 on the season.
The Ben Logan Boys Varsity & JV teams will be in action again on Tuesday, January 23rd when they travel to Marysville’s Dragon Lanes to take on North Union.
The first strike will fall at 4:00 PM.
The Lady Raiders Bowling team lost to Graham at Southwest Lanes 2,057 to 2,752 Thursday.
Bowling a great series and leading for the Raiders was Lorali Klopfenstein with games of 171/185 for a 356 series.
Maddy Hamm rolled games of 148/155 for a 303 series.
Reigan Thomas added a 166 game.
JV Raiders lost to Graham.
Kaelyn Corwin led with games of 173/129 for a 302 series.
Ashlynn Johnston rolled games of 137/125 for a 262 series.
The Lady Raiders are back in action at Dragon Lanes against North Union on Tuesday, January 23rd for a 4 pm start time.
