Benjamin Logan boys bowling team wins sectional title

The Benjamin Logan Boys Bowling team made history on Thursday by winning their first-ever Sectional tournament at Roll House Lanes in Huber Heights.

The Raiders posted a total of 4137 pins, with strong performances in both conventional and baker games.

The team rolled a total of 2920 pins across three conventional games, with scores of 1025, 950, and 945.

Jarrett Buckenroth led the Raiders with a 645 series, including a 268, the second-highest game of the tournament.

Caleb Knight followed with a 609 series, and Landon Stoodt contributed a 582 series.

Nate Davis added solid scores of 161 and 171, while Conner Chambers stepped in with a 424 series in substitute play.

The Raiders also excelled in their six baker games, totaling 1217 pins with game scores of 191, 213, 214, 220, 189, and 190.

The team had the highest conventional and baker game scores out of the 29 teams that participated in the Southwest Sectional Tournament.

The Raiders now look ahead to the District Tournament, which will take place on Tuesday at Beaver-Vu Bowl in Beavercreek.

Doors will open at 9:00 AM, with team games beginning at 10:45 AM.
