Benjamin Logan boys, girls sweep matches over Bellefontaine; other Monday soccer scores

The Benjamin Logan soccer teams win both the boys’ and girls’ matches over their cross-town rival, the Bellefontaine Chieftains.

The Radier boys’ soccer team defeated the Chiefs 2-0.

Aidan Todd and Landen Simon each scored a goal and had an assist.

The Raiders move to 6-1 on the season and 3-0 in CBC play. They next host Lincolnview on Wednesday night at 5:30.

 

The Lady Raiders improved to 5-1 on the season after beating the Lady Chiefs 3-2.

Daylin Varner had 2 goals and assisted on a Paisley Rodenberger goal.

 

The West Liberty-Salem girls’ soccer team defeated Madison Plains at home 11-2 in OHC play.

Leading the scoring for the Tigers was Jenna Cline, with four goals. Arianna Weaver and Skyler Ropp each tallied two, while Emily King, Gwen McCullough, and Delaney Anane-Sefah each tallied a marker.

Assists were given to Arianna Weaver and Jenna Cline. Kaylee Blair had 2 saves in goal.

The Tigers are 3-4-1 overall and 2-2 in conference play. The Tigers will travel to Ben Logan Saturday evening for non-league play with a 5:30 p.m. start time.

 

The WLS JV boys’ soccer team lost a close match to Kenton Ridge, 2-1.

David Roberts netted the lone goal for WL-S on a penalty kick.  Rylan Leichty had 5 saves in goal while Robert Park had 1 save.

The team travels to play Ben Logan this Saturday for a 3:30 p.m. start.
