BL, IL cheer shines with strong CBC performances

Both the Benjamin Logan varsity and middle school cheer teams delivered strong performances at the CBC Competition on November 16 at London High School, earning top-five finishes and multiple individual honors.

The Benjamin Logan High School varsity squad claimed a 3rd-place finish in the Gameday division, competing against seven conference teams. Several athletes received CBC all-team recognition:

  • First Team: Lily Studebaker, Aleah France
  • Second Team: Ella Stoodt
  • Honorable Mention: Cara France
  • Sportsmanship Award: Cara France

The Benjamin Logan Middle School cheer team also impressed, placing 5th out of 11 teams in the Gameday division.

7th Grade: Kaleigha Alig, Aubriana Gehle, Anika Webb
8th Grade: Avery Boylan, Vaydah Reid, Whitney Smith, Liberati Walters, Alexis Whitaker

Both squads showcased spirit, teamwork, and strong representation for Benjamin Logan throughout the competition.

The Indian Lake competition cheerleaders also put on outstanding performances at the CBC Cheer Championships on Sunday at London High School, proudly displaying their Laker spirit.

The Indian Lake High School team tumbled its way to a strong 3rd-place finish in the highly competitive Traditional division. Multiple Lakers earned league honors:

  • First Team: Addie Beck, Riley Ross
  • Second Team: Kiera Penny
  • Special Mention: Makenna Hurley
  • Sportsmanship Award: Maddie Leiss-Breakey

The Indian Lake Middle School team continues to build momentum and energize the crowd in the Gameday division, showing steady improvement and enthusiasm.
