The Benjamin Logan Cheer Program made a strong impression this past weekend at the inaugural OHSCCA District Competition, hosted at Jonathan Alder High School.
Both the middle school and high school cheer teams represented the Raiders with enthusiasm, discipline, and school pride as they competed in the event’s building divisions. It was a chance for both programs to showcase the hard work and teamwork they’ve put in throughout the season — and they did not disappoint.
The Middle School Cheer Team turned in a standout performance, earning Runner-Up honors in their division. The High School Cheer Team also impressed the judges, capturing Third place overall in a competitive field.
Adding to the program’s success, Senior Lily Studebaker and Junior Aleah France were each selected to the All-District Team — a special recognition for their skill, leadership, and outstanding individual performances.
Coach and program leaders praised the athletes for their dedication and continued improvement, noting that the competition was an exciting milestone for Benjamin Logan Cheer.
Next up, both the middle school and high school teams will travel to Upper Arlington next week to compete in the OHSCCA Best in State Competition, where they’ll take the floor once again against some of the top programs in Ohio.
