Coaches Comments: “I was really impressed with our guys tonight and how they embraced the challenge. This was by far the biggest test we have encountered in trying to win the league meet. I felt like our guys showcased their talent as well as all of their hard work and preparation. We had some big-time performances when we needed them the most and pulled out several upsets others were not counting on. I’m happy for these guys and proud of them for reaching one of their season goals.”

Coaches Comments: “We had a terrific league meet. We had a near-flawless day. Sophomore Kylie Adams was honored with winning the Kenton Trail MVP having broken the Overall CBC record in the 300 hurdles, 4×100, and winning 100 hurdles and long jump. Sophomore Ava Reeves was part of three wins and a 3rd. Freshman Kelsey Snapp scored 18 in throws. Outstanding freshman Callie Shumaker scored 26 points in her events. We had key contributions in distance. Yes, it was disappointing seeing on live results we had won at the end, and then not, due to a DQ reversal. But, we did all we could at the ‘23 CBC Meet. Our focus shifts on trying to win a team district championship.”

The boys placed 3rd.
