The Ben Logan Lady Raiders hit the road Saturday afternoon and came home with a sweep, earning both JV and varsity wins over Northwestern in CBC play.

JV Game
The JV squad set the tone early with a dominant 40–19 victory. Ten different players scored in the win, showcasing a balanced offensive effort. Illiana Vermillion led the way with 8 points, followed by Miley Buettner with 7 and Aubrey Harris with 5.

Ben Logan’s defense was the star of the game, generating 16 steals as a team. Brielle Kline sparked the defensive pressure with 5 steals of her own as the Raiders controlled the game from start to finish.

Varsity Game
The varsity Lady Raiders picked up their second win of the season, grinding out a 32–27 victory behind another outstanding defensive performance. Despite shots not falling consistently, Ben Logan locked down the Warriors’ top three scorers, holding them to just 19 combined points.

Seven Raiders scored in the win, led by Kylie Harner with 11 points. Adillynne Gregg followed with 7, Rylan Norviel added 6, Kaylee Hays scored 3, and Jozie Taylor and Addison Kuhn each contributed 2. Ben Logan also racked up 19 team steals while keeping turnovers under 10 — a major factor in the tight road win.

The improvement on the defensive end continues to shine for both teams.

The Lady Raiders return home on Wednesday looking to extend their winning streak as they host Kenton Ridge. JV tips off at 6 p.m.
