Jonathan Alder Tops Bellefontaine Boys
In a CBC matchup at Bellefontaine, Jonathan Alder defeated the Chieftains 4-0.

Bellefontaine falls to 2-8 overall (1-5 CBC).

“The boys played with a lot of heart tonight. We knew this was going to be a tall order. We held them off almost the entire first half, but they got one in right near the whistle. Then we couldn’t hold them off much longer, and they opened it up on us a little. But we are really proud of the way we attacked them defensively. They have a really solid team with an all-star coaching staff. I hope they go deep into the tourney. As for us, we will continue to learn and grow with every game.”

– Head Coach Steve Henry

Bellefontaine will play again on Tuesday (Sept. 23) at Milton Union.
