Jeremy Allen will be leading Benjamin Logan out on the diamond this spring.
Pending board approval at the February Board of Education meeting, the Benjamin Logan Athletic Department is excited to announce Allen as the new head baseball coach.
Bringing a wealth of coaching experience to the field, Allen is excited to lead the baseball program. Making sure that these young men represent Benjamin Logan well and are ready for the world when they graduate are priorities for Coach Allen.
“I want to continue the winning tradition that Coach Rutan and Coach Wilson have set as the standard for Benjamin Logan baseball. League titles and state championships will always be a goal, but building relationships and representing your school at the highest level is an absolute honor. With this honor comes responsibility. The pressure to perform. To meet the expectations of the community. Becoming a role model to others. Our students need to understand and appreciate that coaches and teachers always have their best interest in mind, not only regarding their abilities on the field but also the kind of person they are and values they display off the field.”
For over 25 years, Coach Allen has been an assistant coach for Benjamin Logan’s basketball, football, and baseball teams, ranging from the Junior High to High School level.
Activities Director, Beau Harmon, stated, “Coach Allen desires to take the baseball program to a new level of success, he is “completely bought in” and the love and passion for Benjamin Logan Athletics shown by Coach Allen and his family are deeply appreciated. We look forward to what Coach Allen brings to the future of Raider baseball.”
