The event took place during the varsity basketball game against Northwestern High School and brought together alumni, community members, and current students to celebrate the school’s rich athletic history.

Honorees:

1972-73 Boys Basketball Team

The 1972-73 Boys Basketball Team was celebrated for its achievements under the leadership of the late Tommy Lawrence. During their remarkable season, the team:

  • Had all five starters averaging double figures in scoring, with three players named to the all-league second team.

The team’s accomplishments came during a transitional year following the merger with Belle Center and their move to Division AA, showcasing their determination and teamwork.
