The Benjamin Logan 7th-grade football team hosted Sidney Lehman in an exhibition game Thursday afternoon, picking up the win 28-6, improving their overall record this year to 4-0.
Defensively, the Raiders were led by Jack Cronkleton with 6 tackles, Archer Stratton with 2 sacks, and Brayden Ramos with an Interception.
Offensively, it was an overall team effort led by Carter Crumm with 97 yards rushing and 2 TD, Bexley Ruble with 79 yards rushing, Brayden Ramos with 20 yards rushing and a TD, and going for 40 yards passing and a TD. Archer Stratton had 4 receptions and a TD.
The Radier’s 8th-grade team came up short in their first league play against Indian Lake, 12-8.
Leading the charge defensively for the Raiders were Nevada Coleman and Anson Nichols, both recording 5 tackles apiece, and Stone Angles recorded 4 tackles and a fumble recovery.
Offensively, Nevada Coleman rushed for 153 yards on 22 carries for a TD.
The Raiders have a short week before heading to Springfield Shawnee on Tuesday.
