Four wrestlers from Benjamin Logan Middle School earned a spot to compete at the OAC State Wrestling Tournament in Youngstown this March after competing in the Vandalia Butler OAC Districts on Sunday.
Here are the athletes who qualified:
- Owen Marshall (78 lbs) – 2nd place
- Kaleb Linkenhoker (90 lbs) – 6th place
- Rhett Newman (146 lbs) – 3rd place
- Emerson Carpenter (164 lbs) – 1st place
Also competing, but just missing out on qualifying, were Sebastian Stokes and Eli Carpenter.
The team thanks Officer Rhodes for making the trip to Butler to cheer them on.
